Announcing a unique opportunity this spring to:

In collaboration with United Lubavitch Yeshiva, Darchei Menachem, and Oholei Torah this program is directed by Rabbi Levke Kaplan, Menahel of Cheder Chabad Monsey. 
The 6 week program for aspiring Melamdim includes:
  • Teacher Training Courses every Sunday and one evening each week
  • All classes taking place in-person, in Crown Heights
  • Pre1A through 8th Grade
  • Taking place ו’ אייר – י”ט סיון  (May 4 – June 15)

The Teacher Training presenters include Rabbi Levke Kaplan, Rabbi Mendy Blau, Rabbi Yehuda Fenton, Rabbi Yakov Goldstein, Rabbi Zelly Silber and Rabbi Yossi Simpson. Plus guest speakers on the topics of Chassidishe Chinuch, Mental Health, and much more.

Who is the program geared towards?

The program is designed for Kollel Yungerleit and Bochurim who are curious about entering the field of Chinuch but have not yet begun teaching. It provides an opportunity to explore the world of Chinuch in a structured and supportive setting.

What is the criteria for the stipend?

Participants must be Chavrei Hakollel who are not currently teaching. Additional details regarding stipend eligibility and requirements will be provided upon acceptance into the program.

Where and when are the classes?

Classes take place at 510 Empire Boulevard on Sunday and Wednesday evenings. The program is scheduled at times that accommodate Kollel learning, allowing participants to explore Chinuch without disrupting their regular commitments.

What if I am not sure if Chinuch is for me?

If you’re unsure whether Chinuch is the right path for you, this program is exactly for you! It is designed to provide exposure, training, and insight into the field, helping you determine if teaching is a good fit. We welcome those who are exploring their options and may feel ambivalent about committing to a career in Chinuch.
