After the Menachem Education Foundation’s recent “Dream Big for Chinuch” campaign, where they successfully raised $1,300,000 to build the Chinuch in our community, Rabbi Zalman Shneur, Director, would like to thank the community on behalf of the Menachem Education Foundation.
“I am so inspired by the incredible support we have received. It is a true testament that Chinuch is the most important aspect of our community. At MEF, we are so grateful to be working with the Mechanchim and Mechanchos of our community who give everything that they have every single day for our children, and we are so grateful and humbled by the support of our donors year after year,” he shares.
The funds raised this year by MEF go directly towards building new programs and expanding the current ones that impact our children’s education. From the annual Kinus Mechanchos Chabad, leadership retreats, and personalized workshops in each school, to the monthly parent webinars, grants for Jewish education and educator farbrengens, MEF will be working around the clock for the success of our children.
In the 50th year since the Rebbe launched Mivtzah Chinuch, it is incumbent to do all that is necessary to ensure that every Yiddishe child is receiving a proper Chinuch, and that the beautiful Chinuch our children already receive is just getting better and better. The Menachem Education Foundation feels that it is a Zechus to be involved in this Shlichus that is so dear to the Rebbe.
As promised, MEF turns dreams into reality by launching two resources immediately following the campaign: a webinar for educators tonight (Wednesday, November 26, Vov kislev) at 8:30 PM on Managing ADHD in the Classroom with Rabbi Dr. Yosef Shagalow, and an in-person parent workshop with Harav Yosef Yeshaya Braun in Crown Heights next week on Instilling Yiras Shamayim in Our Children. Register for the workshops at mymef.org/events.
