The Menachem Education Foundation kicks off their 5786 Parent Webinar series with an eye opening discussion on one of today’s greatest challenges: creating healthy boundaries around technology, and keeping our kids safe around screens. In this workshop, Rabbi Dr. Yosef Shagalow, renowned Shliach and therapist will discuss how to model balanced and mindful tech use at home, warning signs of technology overuse and dependence, practical tools for raising emotionally healthy children in a digital world, and guidelines for creating a home of Kedushah and connection.
Scheduled to take place this Wednesday, 15 Cheshvan / November 5 at 8:30 PM EST, the parent webinar initiative is part of the Menachem Education Foundation’s school partnership program, where MEF brings high quality Chinuch resources to teachers and parents of partner schools at no cost. Parents of children in MEF partner schools can attend this webinar free of charge by using their school’s code. For all other parents there is a minimal $18 registration fee to attend this online session. To register, visit mymef.org/partentwebinar.
Thousands of parents have attended the MEF parent webinars last year and have shared about the incredible tools they have learned through this resource. Additional webinars are scheduled to take place over the next few months on topics such as parent-child connection, instilling Yiras Shamayim, parenting with calm, and staying organized over Yom Tov.
