These readers follow a phonetic approach, introducing a small set of new sounds in each book while reinforcing previously learned ones. Each reader includes an engaging story, extension words, comprehension questions, and a list of common words that share the phonetic focus. A non-phonetic high-frequency word is also introduced in every book.

These readers can be used in class and as additional practice at home to strengthen decoding, fluency, and comprehension skills.
