Listing and identifying the FAQs (frequently asked questions) that come up in the Chumash will help students be able to better appreciate Rashi and Meforshim, and be more engaged learners. These activities directly address Standard 5.5 – Understanding the Question and Answer of Rashi, but also build upon Standard 4.7 – Noticing Anomalies. Templates and teachers guides are provided for several fun and engaging activities that help students identify and list Chumash FAQs both in their own Ultimate Chumash Reference Book as well as a class Bulletin Board, with differentiation for grades 3-8.
