As the school year approaches, and countless teachers are about to enter their classrooms for the very first time, the Menachem Education Foundation launches an initiative that will provide free Chinuch mentoring for all first year Chabad Mechanchim and Mechanchos of both Limudei Kodesh and Limudei Chol, of grades 1-12.
Chinuch lies at the center of our community’s success, and both the merit and responsibility of teaching are tremendous. Every child in our schools deserves a year of growth and high quality learning ahead. Teaching today is especially challenging, and building the skillset to reach each student doesn’t happen overnight. Free mentorship with Chinuch experts, offered from MEF’s wide range of connections with experienced educators and professionals, aligned with Chabad’s Hashkafos and the Rebbe’s teachings, is the solution to ensure that no teacher fails, and that no child is left behind.
All new teachers who sign up for the free mentorship program are guaranteed a quality coaching session and a beautiful new teacher gift, that will be delivered to their homes, which includes a book of Chinuch messages for the year, quality supplies and access to MEF’s Chinuch resources, to stay supported throughout the year. Each teacher who signs up will also receive a ticket to a raffle where 50 new teachers will be chosen to receive the full 10-session Chinuch coaching package that MEF will be providing to honor 50 years since the Rebbe launched Mivtzah Chinuch.
“Too often, teachers are left to struggle in their classrooms alone,” states Rabbi Zalman Shneur, Director of MEF. “Today we are going to stop that by giving the opportunity for every teacher to have the support they need so that every single student in their classroom will have Hatzlacha.”
New teachers should sign up for their coaching by filling out this form, to receive their gift before the year starts, and enter the raffle for the full coaching package which will be drawn on Hei Elul, August 29.
This program is one of the many offerings of the Menachem Education Foundation created with the goal of building Chabad Chinuch. Additional resources include the annual Kinus Mechanchos Chabad, School Leadership Retreats and training, Kadima L’Chinuch Teacher Training Program, Chabad Curriculum Database, the Project Tomim Social-Emotional Learning Curriculum and the Our Heritage school grant program.
