Teachers and principals know the struggle all too well—hours spent searching for the right classroom materials, only to end up usually creating them from scratch. For many teachers, the biggest challenge isn’t delivering a great lesson—it’s finding the right materials to use. Teacher whatsapp groups are buzzing with “I need a new Tanya curriculum,” or “What should I teach my 6th graders for Halacha?” “Does anyone know a Yom Tov curriculum that would work for a combined 1-2nd grade class?” No teacher should have to stay up nights developing resources that someone else has created – instead, they should be able to focus on how to use those resources to best reach their students.
Enter the Chabad Curriculum Database, here to make life easier for Chabad Mechanchim and Mechanchos. This new, centralized platform is packed with 200+ ready-to-use curricula, covering all grades from preschool through high school. Developed by the Menachem Education Foundation (MEF), in collaboration with the Mechanchim/Mechanchos Exchange, the database is designed to help schools plan quality lessons without wasting valuable time and energy.
Mrs. Chaya Katz, Curriculum Director at Cheder Menachem of Kingston, PA, captured the relief many feel: “This is the greatest news – to finally have everything in one place!”
Instead of stressing over lesson prep, teachers can focus on connecting with their students and delivering engaging, impactful lessons. Principals can feel confident knowing of more options that are available out there. Curriculum writers can reach a broader audience by submitting their curriculum to this database.
Mrs. Mushkie Lipsker, a sought after teacher trainer and coach, spearheaded this project for MEF. “It’s been so empowering to see the amazing curriculum options out there and to bring them all together in one place,” she shared, “Where they can help schools, teachers, and students thrive. I know this is just the beginning and I’m excited to see even more curriculum being added and more impact!”
The curriculum database saves educators time, but it also allows educators to focus on what really matters: their students.
