Dr. Shani Verschleiser is the founder of MagenU and Trauma, trauma trained therapist with a private practice in Brooklyn, NY. Dr. Verschleiser also serves as an educator on child sexual abuse prevention.

Mrs. Fruma Schapiro is, first and foremost, a mother and grandmother. She has taught in Ohel Chana High School in Los Angeles for 25 years. A beloved mentor and guide for her students, she is also involved with extracurriculars such as the school’s production. Mrs. Schapiro gives a weekly shiur, created by alumni, that gets sent via WhatsApp and Spotify to hundreds of people around the world.

Rivkie Chesney has been part of the leadership team at Slater Torah Academy and Jewish Preschool of the Arts in Louisiana for the last 8 years when her family moved there on Shlichus. She is passionate about the most effective methods of leading a classroom and preschool to success and holds a Master’s in Montessori Leadership.

Miriam Raskin, through her medium FreedomDancer, serves as a beacon of inspiration for women and girls, encouraging them to embrace their most beautiful selves. By integrating singing and dancing with the spiritual teachings of Chassidus, Miriam creates a unique and holistic approach to self-discovery and empowerment. Liba Rimler is going into her 7th year of teaching at Cheder Chabad of Monsey. She teaches 4th grade Limudei Kodesh, 8th grade Mechaneches, and 7th grade Writer’s Workshop. She has also created curriculums including Ready, Set, Daven!, and a Life Skills intrapersonal and interpersonal growth curriculum for middle school students.

Rebbetzin Golshevsky is the founder and director of SHIVITI, a learning resource for Jewish women worldwide. SHIVITI is also a provider of professional development programming for Jewish educators and community workers rooted in the deeper dimension of our textual tradition.

Mrs Shternie Matusof is the co-director of the Limud HaKriah Program. A former Pre-1A and First Grade teacher at Bnos Menachem School, she has used her extensive experience working with students to help develop a solid kriah program geared for all types of learners to succeed, both in the classroom as well as in private remediation. Mrs Matusof currently oversees the kriah program at Bnos Menachem and trains teachers and kriah tutors from various schools.

Director of Project TEAM, (Tools for Emotional Awareness and Middos), a program used in schools internationally, specializing in in creating supportive classroom communities and empowering every student to thrive, with over 22 years of teaching experience.

Nechamie Stefansky has been in the chinuch world for over ten years. She was a main teacher for four years and is currently a remedial teacher. She has taken my love for movement and education and has created a program to help kids get regulated and calm.

Nicki (Nechama) Salfer promotes a holistic approach to special education and recognizes the importance of effective communication in delivering services that produce good outcomes. As CEO of Tree of Knowledge Learning Academy, Nicki has had a great deal of success in developing educational programs, implementing efficiencies in schools, crafting educational options and safe learning environments, assessing situational challenges, and strategizing and rendering action plans. She has extensive experience in teacher training and professional development. As a direct service provider, Nicki is an advocate and mediator for special needs students in their dealings with local school districts and private schools. She has provided educational case management services for students in hospitals and in complex special education needs. She maintains a wealth of varied resources that she implements to meet client needs.

Mrs. Henny Bartfield is an experienced educator with over thirty years in the field, now serving as an educational therapist. She holds certifications from prestigious institutions such as the Institute for Neuro Physiological Psychology (INPP), the National Institute for Learning Development (NILD), and Feuerstein Instrumental Enrichment (FIE). Mrs. Bartfield has created innovative curricula and provides coaching and professional development to teachers worldwide. Currently, she is the Director of Social-Emotional Learning at the Menachem Education Foundation, focusing on emotional regulation and social-emotional learning in students.

Mrs. Chanie Wilschanski is a trailblazer in school leadership who has started a global conversation about building and sustaining schools of excellence while creating legacy. Chanie is the Host of the Schools of Excellence Podcast, an Early Childhood Leadership Coach, and the CEO and Founder of Schools of Excellence. Chanie has worked with hundreds of EC Directors and School Owners who are working to build a School of Excellence with higher staff retention, teacher motivation, parent partnership, and collaborative culture.

Mrs. Mimi Wilhelm is a Shlucha to Portland, OR, has two decades of experience in early childhood education, founding and directing The Gan Preschool, a Reggio-inspired Jewish Preschool for many years. In September, she authored the Jewish Reggio Curriculum, already embraced by over 30 preschools nationwide. With a master’s in education, specializing in curriculum design, Mimi passionately advocates for the formative years in a child’s life and the pivotal role educators play. Holding a coaching certification, she coaches preschool directors and conducts nationwide workshops. Mimi is committed to equipping educators with essential tools for effective leadership in early childhood education.

Dr. Laya Salomon is Director of the Master’s Program and Associate Professor at the Azrieli Graduate School of Jewish Education at Yeshiva University.  She teaches graduate courses in curriculum, assessment, lesson planning and teaching methods, and doctoral courses in mentoring & supervision, educational models and school leadership.  Dr. Salomon is also Director of Education for Zucker Jewish Academy schools, a growing network of kiruv schools across the US.

Dr. Sara Rosenfeld is sought as a mentor, lecturer and consultant in a variety of settings for a spectrum of Jewish and General Studies, general educational philosophies and curriculum innovations. She is one of the authors of and trainers for the Zekelman Standards for Judaic Studies and is currently supporting a number of elementary schools around the world in the implementation of these standards.

Mrs. Gitty Rosenfeld is the principal of Bais Rivkah Elementary School in Crown Heights. Mrs. Rosenfeld has had extensive hands-on experience as a Chumash teacher and Mechaneches in Bais Rivka High School, and she has also served as the principal of the Shluchim Online School. With nearly three decades of Chinuch experience, Mrs. Rosenfeld also serves as a professional development presenter and educational consultant as well.

Rabbi Yossi Marlow, originally from Crown Heights, honed his leadership skills under his father, Harav HaGaon Rabbi Yehudah Marlow – the famed and venerated Rav of the Crown Heights Beis Din who elicited extraordinary praise from the Lubavitcher Rebbe. Rabbi Marlow spent several years engaged in teaching positions. He began with a Yeshivah high school in his native community, before relocating to Miami, Florida in 1994 to share his remarkable knowledge with the students of Klurman Mesivta High School and Hillel Community School while establishing Bais Menachem, now a thriving Shul with over 150 families. In addition to his duties as a rabbi, delivering series of classes, and guiding his own community, Rabbi Marlow is sought regularly from far beyond his community’s borders as a Rav and Dayan.

Sara Loewenthal has worked in the field of education for over 20 years, including 10 years in educational leadership. She is an Ontario certified teacher and principal (OCT, PQP), and is currently studying towards her doctorate in education, which is IYH be completed next Fall. Sara is also a NY State certified teacher. Much of Sara’s studies has majored in mental health, child development and education.

Mrs. Chana Kashi has been an elementary educator for close to 20 years and is very passionate about it. She is currently the General Studies Principal of Magen Israel Schools in Great Neck, NY. She has her MA in general and special education as well as she is currently enrolled in her 2nd Masters in School Building Leadership at Brooklyn College.

Dr. Batsheva Isaac, a former high school principal, now leads SOS Education, a consulting firm that partners with school districts to deliver federally funded Title services to private schools. These services include direct student support, coaching for teachers and administrators, and accreditation consulting.

Dr. Marcy Forta is the founder and director of Atzmi, a nonprofit dedicated to supporting the mental health of adolescent girls through programs that enhance self-compassion, self-worth, and body image while providing tools to prevent eating disorders. Atzmi’s initiatives also include workshops for parents and educators to extend their impact. Dr. Forta specializes in eating disorder prevention, awareness, and education, offering support and guidance to families and consulting with schools and mental health professionals.

Mrs. Malka Bergstein M.S. SpEd is an educational administrator and learning/behavioral specialist with extensive experience in high school and junior high school special education. She has over 15 years of experience coordinating curriculum aligned with Common Core standards, while creating a culture of learning, and providing coaching and support to teachers. Mrs. Bergstein now serves as principal of Ichud Mosdos, NY, an innovative model to support diverse student needs within mainstream school systems.
