Tamim Academy of New York City seeks an Educational Director who excels at building a warm community culture. The ideal candidate is an experienced educator, an excellent listener and communicator, and an advocate for learner-centered education. The ability to balance strategic thinking and attention to detail is critical. The Educational Director is responsible for the overall success of the school, including leading the teaching team, and implementing the educational program.

Qualifications:

Strong empathy for educators, parents, and students
Graduate degree in education
8+ years prior classroom teaching experience for K-8 students
Passion for working with and engaging children in student driven learning experiences
Belief in fostering children’s social, emotional, and spiritual capabilities

Salary: $80,000 – $100,00 commensurate with experience
