Hebrew Academy Chabad in Orange County, California is searching for a full-time teacher/shliach to teach in the upper elementary and upper school. The school day extends from 8 AM to 3:30 PM five days a week. In addition to teaching,we would expect the Shliach to work with the families and do other Paulos. Although the school has general studies, the Limudei Kodesh classes extend all day. The school is well organized and a teacher that is employed will be trained in proper teaching methodology planning and organization. We prefer that the wife also should teach part time. The school is a community school with all types of families on the religious spectrum attending; although in the upper grades is mostly members in the Orthodox community with serious learning desired. The salary is in keeping with other teaching institutions in California. There is a large camp Gan Israel on our site and the teacher would be employed in that program during the summer.
