Chabad Girls Academy in Brooklyn, NY

Chabad Girls Academy, a private school in Brooklyn, is seeking an experienced & skilled fundraiser to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for Jewish education with a proven track record of successful fundraising.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute a comprehensive fundraising strategy to meet the school’s financial goals.
• Cultivate and maintain relationships with donors, sponsors, and community partners.
• Identify and pursue new funding opportunities, including grants, corporate sponsorships, and individual donations.
• Plan and coordinate fundraising events and campaigns, including donor appreciation events, fundraising campaigns, annual raffles and auctions.
• Develop and manage fundraising budgets, ensuring that all expenditures are in line with the school’s financial goals.
• Collaborate with the school’s marketing team to create compelling fundraising materials and donor communications.
• Maintain accurate records of all donations and donor information, ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards.
• Collaborate with the school’s leadership team and school board to ensure that fundraising efforts align with the school’s mission and strategic priorities.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of three years of experience in nonprofit fundraising, with a proven track record of successful campaigns & events.
• Strong proven communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and execute fundraising strategies, including nurturing existing donors & the identification of new funding opportunities.
• Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple campaigns and events.
• Knowledge of fundraising best practices, including ethical and legal standards.
• Knowledge of the Chabad community & culture.

Compensation:

This is a commission-based position, with the potential for significant earnings based on your fundraising efforts. The successful candidate will be eligible for a generous commission on all funds raised, in addition to a base salary to be negotiated based on experience.
