About the Chabad Chinuch Convention & Retreat

The 6th Annual Kinus Mechanchos Chabad brings together educators from across the globe for two days of knowledge, inspiration, networking, and practical teaching solutions. As a fully immersive retreat, the Convention gives educators the opportunity to refresh and rejuvenate in an elegant atmosphere, while gaining tools for the coming year.

ברוב עם הדרת מלך: Every Chabad Mechaneches working in any kind of school is invited to join. Workshops and sessions cater to teachers of all levels of experience, subjects, and grades, with special tracks geared toward Early Childhood and School Leadership. The Chinuch Banquet and Farbrengen are open to educators and guests who wish to show support for this vital work, and in turn gain strength and inspiration to rededicate themselves to Chinuch in all of its forms.

Whether you are a teacher, school leader, specialist or aspiring educator; and whether you teach Limudei Kodesh or Limudei Chol, toddlers or teenagers; we invite you to join us. Feel treated and empowered, equipped and inspired at the Kinus Mechanchos Chabad.

Geulah in our lives and in our classrooms

Mechanchos, Klal Yisroel and the entire world are emerging from unprecedented challenges. We are more ready for Geulah than ever before – and more eager for an elevated and uplifted experience of our classrooms and our lives.

This year’s Kinus will focus on the theme of גאולה and מנוחה, in addition to the usual high quality programming Mechanchos have come to expect, in the following ways:

TREATING Mechanchos to rest, rejuvenation and renewal to find the strength and serenity for their vital Shlichus.

EMPOWERING Mechanchos to connect to and teach the concept of Geulah, and to imbue their classrooms with the sense of positivity and purpose that it brings.

PROVIDING tools to give our students an anchor in a tumultuous world, combatting the anxiety and unique challenges that many of them face.

As we approach Shabbos Nachamu, may our commitment to carrying out the vital Shlichus of Chinuch in this spirit, bring the Geulah into our physical reality, immediately, now.

Program

The convention program will feature sessions and workshops that highlight the unique responsibilities and challenges of an educator today. Sessions include practical workshops offered by successful educators, and presentations by psychologists and other experts in meeting students’ needs. Workshops will be offered in parallel tracks so each Mechanaches can customize her experience, including programming offered specifically for School Leadership and Early Childhood.

Additionally, the Kinus features inspirational talks, individual coaching, and structured networking opportunities throughout the two days. Exquisitely catered dining, women’s swim hours, and sessions focusing on a teacher’s physical and spiritual well-being, will round out the program.

Each guest will leave feeling refreshed, appreciated, and prepared for a new successful school year.
